Telehealth Collaboration – Wide Bay Region
Partnering with National Telehealth Providers
Social Bond Australia provides face-to-face initial appointments for national telehealth organisations delivering services to DVA-funded veterans.
Under current DVA regulations, only mental-health-accredited social workers and psychologists may complete all sessions via telehealth. For general social work providers, the initial appointment must be face-to-face to confirm client identity, build rapport, and establish a safe service foundation.
We offer subcontracted in-person intake appointments across the Wide Bay region, covering all towns and communities within this area. This ensures DVA compliance while allowing telehealth providers to continue delivering ongoing sessions remotely.
